There will be thirty to forty carvers who will be displaying their carvings and demonstrating their skills.
The Blackhawk Woodcarvers were formed to promote the art of woodcarving and associated crafts through instruction, exhibitions such as the August 15th show, demonstrations and workshops. There are 110 members in the Blackhawk club, most of these members are from Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri and Iowa.
Many of the club members share their knowledge, experience and give their time and talents to the club programs. Visit our show and talk with these people and see first hand their many creative carvings.
